The Lamppost

from $1,800.00

“The way of Jesus cannot be imposed or mapped — it requires an active participation in following Jesus as he leads us through sometimes strange and unfamiliar territory, in circumstances that become clear only in the hesitations and questionings, in the pauses and reflections where we engage in prayerful conversation with one another and with him.”

― Eugene H. Peterson, The Jesus Way: A Conversation on the Ways That Jesus Is the Way

Are you a leader who wants to keep your heart for Jesus for the long-haul?
Are you struggling with burn out?
Are you hungry for more input and discipleship outside your normal setting where you serve?
Are you longing for a safe community where you can say what might be hard to say to the people you lead?
Do you need tending to in a way that goes beyond the surface of your life but you don’t know how to get there?

The Lamppost is a 4 month cohort designed for ministry leaders to deepen or rediscover their love for Jesus. It is a focus on a lifelong journey of steady, faithful devotion rather than something flashy, hurried, or success-driven.

Brent Crenshaw serves as the Pastor of Soul Care and Equipping at Fellowship Church, where he brings a shepherd’s heart and a deep love for people. Before joining Fellowship, Brent served on staff with Cru at the University of Tennessee. He holds a Master’s in Counseling from Johnson University and is a licensed counselor working in private practice at Willow Springs Counseling. He is passionate about helping others experience healing, growth, and authentic community. Brent and his wife, Becky, have three sons—and when he’s not caring for people, he’s probably crafting a perfect homemade pizza.

Beth is passionate about creating spaces where ministry leaders can be honest, cared for, and developed outside of their work environments. With a shepherd’s heart and a deep love for spiritual formation, she brings both warmth and wisdom to her work. Beth holds an M.A. in Professional Counseling from Richmont Graduate University and is completing her doctorate in Spiritual Formation and Soul Care from Talbot Seminary. After 17 years on staff with Cru, she founded With Inc., a ministry devoted to the soul care and development of ministry leaders. When she’s not talking with Brent about pizza, you’ll find her cheering on the Vols and wondering about her own soul when they’re losing to Bama.
